We took the kids to see the movie Alice In Wonderland at the dollar theatre and we all loved it!! I don't normally like Tim Burton's stuff but since the story line is weird anyways it was perfect! We all liked the movie even Sloane. Then afterwards we went to deseret book and the kids picked out a father's day gift for dad and then we went to The Golden Spoon for some Frozen Yogurt, it was Yummy! Then later that day we had a BBQ and invited the Winn's our neighbors, the Fullmers and the Flecks. It was a lot of fun and we had FIFTEEN kids all together here and they were all amazingly GOOD! The food and company was great and we all had a great time, and the sun decided to make an apperance since it's been hiding all week with lots of RAIN, ughhhh. I feel like I am back in Washington. It was a great day!

An Award for the kids

All week long the kids have been coming home with awards, this is one of the many reasons why I LOVE their school. All of our grade schoolers came home with an award for passing things off this year which is a big acheivment, and the Hawaiian Princess even got an award in Middle School for getting a 3.8 GPA, she got all A's except Math but she did great in that too. We are so proud of all our children trying so hard to get good grades in school and passing things off. Way to Go Kids!!

FHE Fun!

We decided for fun after our lesson to take the kids to go get doughnuts and they had fun. I forgot how simple the little kids could be entertained by watching the doughnuts come down the track, the boys loved watching that. Yes, JR is wearing his PJ's, what's life without running around in your PJ's, I wish I could wear my PJ's all the time!

My New Life

I have been feeling sorry for myself lately...then I watched this video of this miraculous woman and then I realized I have been taking life for granted. I have been reading her blog lately and I was asking my self how and why did this woman survived this and why did she have to, and the spirit told me that we all need her example, and that she's here for us. I am so grateful for her testimony and the little things she does everyday that makes me realize that I even take doing my girls' hair for granted! It makes me grateful for the little things in life like today and all day yesterday EB boy kept bringing me a water bottle because mommy isn't feeling very well and then he would announce to everyone that this is Mommies water bottle and to not touch it, the smile, the hugs, the I Love you's ect. My favorite thing is when my kids crawl up and sit next to me and nestle their sweet heads against me and then I caress their sweet soft faces and then give them hugs and kisses, that is my most favorite thing in the whole world! This video is Very inspiring! Push pause on the music before viewing.

Well It's Official!!

Today I went in for my ultrasound and it was a resounding...BABY!! Yep Baby number EIGHT is on it's way!! As you can see from the ultrasound picture the baby is laying at the bottom of that big black holeish looking thing and it was so awesome, it was moving it's feet and hands around, it was just so amazing that at ten weeks that we could see that, if you look real close the things sticking up from the body is the hands and feet. I had an ultrasound to determine how far along I was and to find out when I am due. I am due December 7th Yep you guessed it Danny boy and this next baby will be a year apart!! We are excited and we love welcoming new precious spirits into our home. I will admit that I had mixed emotions about it all especially because I just did this not to long ago but I knew there was another one and here we are and yes this was a surprise to us too but we are happy about it especially after today and seeing the miracle of that little baby moving around like that, it was just amazing! I had an ultrasound done when I was six weeks along but my midwife felt like we could get a better idea doing it again at ten weeks and at six weeks when I had it done, we could see the heart beating, that was awesome too because it was no bigger than a bean! So yep back in the saddle again.

I am GRATEFUL for the progress JR is making!

Gratitude Journal Entry #90

He's been taking speech for about a month and a half now and he just had a session last Thursday and he's making some progress. Before the speech therapist would try and get him to point to things and name them but he wouldn't and now he will go up just randomly to things and point and say the things, like he went up to danny boy and said "Baby," I was so proud of him for making this progress!! Now we are working on getting him to tell us what he wants when he wants them, that has been our biggest frustration, ugh!! He just cries and gets super frustrated, but the speech therapist uses that to her advantage, if that makes any sense, she's real patient and then after he throws his fit and out of frustration for him he will finally blurt out the item that he wants and then he gets a big reward of us all clapping and saying yeay! Poor guy I feel for him, I wish he didn't have to go through this it's hard to watch sometimes. He's such a sweet boy and his nursery leaders just love him because he's so animated and he is! Don't you just love his apron? He gets so messy that he has to wear this when he eats, no bib would cover all the mess that he makes, especially with cereal!

I am GRATEFUL for a great Mother's Day!

Gratitude Journal Entry# 89

I got to go on a date with my Hunny last night without Danny Boy, Thanks to Grandma Karen, Thanks Grandma Karen! Karen surprised me with a large pot with a HUGE Tomato plant from Costco, Thanks. We went with some Good friends to Tucanos Res. one of my favorites. Then we went down by the river and went for a walk, it was so fun! We saw a beaver and a pelacan eating a fish and it's tail fin was flapping out of it's mouth as he was gulping it down, very interesting. Then we found out about a cool cheap date down there at the park by the river...it's called Disc golf, it's like regular golf only you use a disc that looks like a small frisby and you try and throw it into these metal baskets, there is 18 rounds of it all over the park just like golf, but cheaper you just pay for the disc for $10 at a sporting goods store and you can go down there and play anytime you want and it's beautiful down there! My daughter the hawaiian princess cleaned and organized the pantry for me and she made a cute mother's day slide show, I got flowers from my parents thank you! I got some stuff from Bath and Body works, and a hommade fan from Shell and lots of love notes. I feel so spoiled. Also the best part...I got to Sleep in this morning and the bishop Surprised Sloane and Randy by making them come down and sit with their families, so I got to sit with my husband for the first time in a year and a half at church, although that was the first time Danny boy slept all the way through the meeting so he didn't get a real glimps of what I go through every week, that part was no fair, oh well. I hope you had a great Mother's day MOM!! Love you!

I am GRATEFUL for impressions

Gratitude Journal Entry #88

This morning Sloane left for work early and then I really couldn't go back to sleep, I kept having weird dreams all night long. Then my daughter came in to my room and said that she could smell gas really strong, so because of my dreams and then she had dreams all night long too and they were all about our house and something happening to it both mine and Hawaiian princesses dreams. So I took that as a sign and called the gas company to come out to see if we had a gas leack and sure enough we do right under our fireplace and of course it's hard to get to, so the guy couldn't help me he said I will have to call a repair person to come out...in the meantime he said "I am going to have to shut you down." In other words turn off our gas, yes that means that there will be NO heat and NO stove. Oh, yay, I am so happy about that, NOT! And of course while my husband is not around and won't be until tomorrow night, doesn't it always happen that way? I am hoping and praying that the repair guy will be able to fix it and we will be good to go later today! Pray for us!:)

I am GRATEFUL for the love of reading!

Gratitude Journal Entry #87

I am going to brag...Dash this week has been taking the ISAT tests and scored High on the reading. He loves to read and I am so happy that he does. Just before we moved here from Washington almost four years ago we found out that Dash had some bad eyesight issues, he always passed the exams at school so we were all shocked when we found out how bad it really was. His left eye is 20/20 but his right eye is 20/200 which is legally half blind. He has had headaches since he was a kid and we didn't know why but he hid his headaches well too because he was useto it. He was born with this eye defect and has just coped. We love him very much and are grateful that he hasn't let this challenge get the best of him, now if we could only train him to keep better track of his glasses, oh well, boys will be boys!
